NETWORK WORKING GROUP MEETING.
------------------------------
In line with the consensus of the Houston Network Working Group meeting
in November, we will hold general Network Working Group meetings
approximately every three months. The Spring and Fall meetings will be
synchronized to the Joint Computer Conferences. The others will be
moved around in order to promote exposure to the various sites and
spread the burden of hosting.
The next meeting is on February 17, 18, 19 at the Illini Union,
University of Illinois. Prospective attendees should contact Phyllis
Ewing, Mike Sher's secretary, by the end of January. She can be reached
at 217-333-0799 or at:
Center for Advanced Computation
162 Engineering Research Laboratory
University of Illinois
Urbana, Illinois 61801
Attendees should plan to arrive sometime on the seventeenth.
This meeting will be a bit more organized the previous meetings and
will include at least a few prepared reports.

§1A Recurring Meeting Plan
Following the November Houston meeting, general Network Working Group meetings are to be held approximately every three months. The Spring and Fall meetings will coincide with the Joint Computer Conferences.
Other meetings will move among sites to promote exposure to different locations and spread the burden of hosting.
The group plans regular meetings throughout the year. Moving some meetings to different sites is meant to share the work of hosting.
§1The Next Meeting
The next meeting is scheduled for February 17, 18 and 19 at the Illini Union, University of Illinois. Attendees should plan to arrive on the seventeenth and contact Phyllis Ewing by the end of January.
The notice gives the dates and location for the next meeting. It asks attendees to plan to arrive on the first day and contact the named organizer in advance.
§1More Organized Reports
The announcement says the next meeting will be a bit more organized than previous meetings and will include at least a few prepared reports.
It does not list report topics or describe results, since this document is an announcement.
The next meeting is expected to include prepared reports. The notice does not say what those reports will cover.
